Luna Fyrewillow is an artist currently residing in Canada who concentrates their work around digital and comic illustrations. However, they will often experiment with different mediums. Through their art, they hope to inspire, captivate, and educate. They use their passion, curiosity, and love of learning to create pieces that reflect how they feel, see, and navigate the world around them. They are enamored with the idea of DUALITY (“Nothing is one thing or another. There is always a mix. You need both sides of light and dark to be whole. I work to embrace both my light and dark sides.” - Luna), which is the concept most of their original characters are based around.

I am tired of other peoples boxes. Other’s idea of who I should be and how I should live life. I refuse to try to fit into other’s boxes anymore. I refuse to become what the world expects me to be. I will be me. I will make my own Reality, my own Art, my own World. I will live my life how I want. A life filled with my wild spirit and gentle heart. Living my life with passion.”

Luna has a Bachelors of Fine Arts specializing in Painting from the Alberta University of the Arts, with a focus on contemporary art. Luna is also a certified TESL teacher. They have also studied Japanese Language and Manga in Tokyo, Japan.

Luna is and supports the LGBTQ+ (LGBTQQIP2SAA+) communities. They are a sex positive feminist and have been trained in sexual education and research. They are pansexual/panromantic femme genderqueer.

Luna is trained in singing, both in groups and single performances. They no longer perform, but singing and music are an important part of their work.

Luna is a practicing Earth Witch. Magic and ritual influences can be seen in many of their works. Their specialties include; Working with the Fae, Herbs, Essential Oils, and Elemental Magic.

Luna is an activist. They work towards educating others on a spectrum of issues. These include environmental issues, social issues, and political issues. They fight for equal rights for all.
